Group Established to Raise Awareness
on Gaming Issues facing Wisconsin

These prominent organizations make up the Wisconsin Gaming for Wisconsin coalition. Wisconsin Gaming for Wisconsin was created to preserve and promote the tradition and integrity of gaming by Wisconsinites and to form relationships with community partners to support economic development that benefits all Wisconsin residents.

Hispanic Chamber of Commerce

The Hispanic Chamber of Commerce of Wisconsin (HCCW) was incorporated in 1972 as a non-profit business organization. The HCCW creates, expands and diversifies small and Hispanic-owned businesses in Wisconsin with a strong focus in the Milwaukee Metro area. The HCCW provides educational and technical resources, fosters economic exchange between the business and corporate sectors, and promotes a network for political issues, community affairs and opportunities for the Hispanic population and community at large.

Milwaukee Urban League

The Milwaukee Urban League’s mission is to provide essential services and strong results-oriented programming to those who share with all of us a desire to be productive, contributing members of the community. A dedicated team of staff, volunteers, sponsors, and the Board open doors to information, skill development and other support to help African Americans achieve their full potential and participate in the social mainstream, to secure economic self-sufficiency, parity and power, and civil rights.

VISIT Milwaukee

VISIT Milwaukee markets Greater Milwaukee to tourists, convention and meeting planners nationally and internationally and is dedicated to ensuring our guests are warmly welcomed and enjoy an enriching experience in this jewel of the Great Lakes. VISIT Milwaukee has more than 700 members, including hotels/motels, restaurants, attractions, services and area businesses. Tourism generated $2.4 billion in spending in Greater Milwaukee in 2004 and supported about 61,000 local jobs.

Forest County Potawatomi Community

The Forest County Potawatomi Community is one of 11 recognized tribes in Wisconsin. They employ close to 3,000 people in Wisconsin. They are one of the largest employers in Milwaukee and the largest employer in Forest County. Through their charitable foundation, the Forest County Potawatomi Community Foundation, the Tribe is able to help fight poverty and promote economic opportunity by supporting local groups. Each year, they contribute more than $3 million to Milwaukee-area charities.
